Technique over force. Presence over ego. Jiu jitsu you can train for life — in a dojo of no more than ten.
5th-degree black belt · 28 years on the mat · Max 10 per class · Gi & no-gi
BJJ House is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Ginowan, Okinawa, minutes from Futenma. It was built for people who want more than a sport — who want to understand jiu jitsu deeply and still be training it in twenty years. Every class is capped at ten students, so the teaching is close to semi-private. You are not a number on a crowded mat here. Your instructor knows your name, your game, and exactly what you are working on.
Your first class starts with a simple message — no commitment.
Why train here
Maximum ten students per class. Most academies pack the mat and let you fend for yourself. Here, ten is the ceiling — every class. That means real correction, real attention, and a pace set to you, not to the crowd.
You train safe — so you train for life. Most people who quit jiu jitsu don’t quit the art. They quit the gym — the ego, the injuries, the war. At BJJ House technique does the work, not muscle and aggression. You leave each class better, not broken.
Learn from the most senior black belt in Okinawa. 28 years on the mat. 5th-degree black belt. Two published books. One refined method. You are learning from the source, not from a rotating cast of part-time coaches.

The Flow Jiu Jitsu System
Our classes are built on the Flow Jiu Jitsu System — Helio Damiani’s own method, refined over nearly three decades of teaching. It trades brute force for timing, structure, and movement, so the art works with your body instead of against it. Curious how it works? Explore the Flow Jiu Jitsu System.
